Clubs and Enrichment
A wide range of extra-curricular activities are on offer to the pupils to help them develop as many skills as possible. Our pupils have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of competitions, visits and events.
We encourage our children to participate in activities outside of normal class time. We currently offer athletics and cross country running, girls’ and boys’ football, netball, rugby and choir. We also arrange visits to theatres and places of historical and cultural importance.
As part of our philosophy to encourage children to become more active, have fun and be healthy, we run a number of After School Activities, including dance classes and sports. Many of our pupils take part in activities elsewhere.
As a school we pride ourselves on our outstanding productions and shows. Our EYFS and Key Stage One children perform a Nativity play in December. At Easter, children in Year 3 – 5 have an Easter reflection. At the end of every year, our Year 6 children put on a show. In past years we have such performed: Oliver, Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King and The Wizard of Oz.

“IT IS IMPORTANT TO SAY, THOUGH, THAT BEING IN YEAR 6, AS IN THE REST OF THE SCHOOL, IS NOT JUST ABOUT LEARNING ENGLISH AND MATHEMATICS. PUPILS ENJOY ALL THEIR SUBJECTS AND TAKING PART IN A RANGE OF EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES, SPORTS AND VISITS.”
