Whilst revising some of our writing skills, in Year 6 we have been exploring direct speech and the required punctuation.
We have been discussing the importance of punctuation and how it can change the meaning of your entire sentence, whilst also looking at how we can extend speech to be more descriptive and include adverbials.
We decided to physically create our sentences and then see if we could identify the clauses and punctuation within.
