Today in Year 5 we have completed a number of science investigations based around Forces.
We began by investigating gravity and the impact a meteorite would have when it hit the moon. We discussed how the width and the weight of a meteorite would change the size or depth of a crater.
We then also discussed friction and how this force is seen in our everyday lives. The children then used Force Meters to measure the friction of certain surfaces with a weighted item.
Well done Year 5, a great finish to this half term.
