Year 3 have started their new science topic rocks, soils and fossils. Today in science we acted out the different features of rocks, showing air bubbles, crystals, layers, and pebbles. Then we role played a script and thought carefully about the vocabulary being used. We went through and highlighted any words to do with rocks and their features, annotating the script to show what we thought the words might mean.
