In our art, Year 5 have been developing our sense of scale whilst looking at animal silhouettes. The children have also been exploring their use of shading by looking at different techniques.
The children began by drawing small animal silhouettes within their book, which we then scaled up by using a grid over their drawing and transferring this to a larger grid.
We then drew these designs onto cardboard and even developed stands to make them even more life like.
We have some amazing artists in Year 5 so please take a look at some of their fabulous final pieces!
