This afternoon we started our new History topic Crime and Punishment. We discussed common crimes we would find in todays society and crimes that were common in the Roman and medieval periods and noted what was similar and what was different. We learnt some key vocabulary such as pillory, judge, jury and magistrate. We then had to act out different scenarios and guess the time period based on the crime and punishment given. A fantastic start to the term Year 6!
