This week is World Mental Health week so this afternoon in PSHE we discussed what does it mean when we talk about looking after our own mental health. We explored some barriers to mental health and then discussed coping strategies and useful tips that we can use if we are struggling. We made positive affirmation cards that will be displayed on our wall so if we are feeling overwhelmed we can use this to help us. We also discussed what a good wellbeing ambassador does as after half term applications for wellbeing ambassadors will be sent out to Year 6 which is a very important job!
