After weeks of practise this half term, Year 5 have created a fantastic dance routine. There has been a lot of hard work from the pupils and their dance instructor. I think we can all agree they did a great job.

On Wednesday, our team entered the Catholic Schools Rugby competition. We won all 3 of our heats and went into the semi finals, it was a close match but the final score was 3:1 which ensured our place in the final. Unfortunately we were defeated by St Christopher's who won by one try.

The Tameside Catholic Schools Sports events will be kicking off with our annual 3 race cross country event. The dates for these are 20th, 27th September and 4th October. Obviously some of our year 5 and 6 children will be in London for the last race, however we will gain points for races 1 and 2.

After performing our dance in the closing ceremony representing Trinidad and Tobago , Year 2 enjoyed a feast of tropical fruits and ginger cake. Harrison's grandma even made us a delicious cake showing the flag of Trinidad.
