Today in Year 6 we have been studying blood. We have learnt about what blood is made up of and the jobs of each part. As part of this we have made our own man-made blood using raspberries, marshmallows, sprinkles and juice.
Our cake sale was so popular today that we decided to make some cornflake cakes and decorate some biscuits to sell again tomorrow to raise some more money for Cafod. The children enjoyed themselves take a look...
We will keep you updated on our grand total!
Can I say a big thank you for helping your children to make all the delicious cakes for our year 6 cake sale. I don't know who enjoyed it more the year 6 children running their own stalls or the children who came with their money to buy them. Thank you again .
Those children who received a Special Mention last week were also given an extra award of hot chocolate and cakes on Friday. The children were ecstatic to have the opportunity to put marshmallows and sprinkles on their drinks.
Thanks for the memories, Mr Barker.
