We have been busy getting ready for our performance of Hey Ewe! We can’t wait for our parents and friends to see our show. Everyone has tried so hard with their parts including our dances and our songs. Our teachers are very proud of us!

It was Monkey's birthday on Monday and to celebrate he had a party and shared food with his friends.
At the party there were 4 animals altogether so Monkey had to split the food into quarters.
Year 1 had to make sure they shared the pizza, chocolate and biscuit into 4 equal parts to get quarters.
This week year 1 children planted sunflower seeds. They whispered to their seed before planting it telling them how much they love them, how they will water them each day and how they promise to look after them to help them grow. The children also explored and made mud pies!!

Today, a parcel arrived in year 4, it travelled from one group of children to the next, what they didn't know was that it contained the plague!
Year 4 have been learning about The Black Death as part of their history topic and today they learnt which countries the plague travelled through to reach England.
The fleas escaped and infected everyone.
