We had a very exciting morning! During the night Daddy Bear crept into our classroom and ate all the porridge. He left a huge footprint in our classroom . We decided to measure it and so we went outside to find as many things as we could that were longer than the footprint. We found lots of things.

19th April 2018We have been practising writing our numbers 1-10 and even up to 20. We went outside in the sunshine with a piece of chalk. Our playground is full of magical numbers.

18th April 2018It was Monkey's birthday on Monday and to celebrate he had a party and shared food with his friends. At the party there were 4 animals altogether so Monkey had to split the food into quarters. Year 1 had to make sure they shared the pizza, chocolate and biscuit into 4 equal parts to get quarters.

17th April 2018On Friday Year 6 made spoon puppets. They have been working together to put on a puppet show to perform to some children in school, and have carefully designed each puppet for their show.

17th April 2018Today in Year 6 we have been studying blood. We have learnt about what blood is made up of and the jobs of each part. As part of this we have made our own man-made blood using raspberries, marshmallows, sprinkles and juice.

16th April 2018Year 1 took tape measures out into the forest last week to see if they could guess the age of our trees. They measured the circumference of the tree in inches which gave us an estimation of it's age. Our children found trees that were roughly 40, 48 and 59 years old!!
I have heard all about the bears foot print. It’s all very exciting
