Year 1 had a great History Day. They learnt about the two World Wars by doing different workshops in each class and even met a World War I soldier. At the end of the day they got to celebrate the end of the war with a street party!
It’s the thrill... Year 5 had a fantastic time competing in a variety of fun activities yesterday. The children all represented one of four houses and their points were accumulated, the winning house was Thomas More.
Thanks for the memories, Mr Barker
Throughout the year we have collected our reading reports. Reports are completed when a child finishes a book and are very important to show children’s understanding of what they have read. The count is in and Year 5 read an incredible 982 books, which works out roughly as 168 per half term and roughly 27 per week. Well done...
