After performing our dance in the closing ceremony representing Trinidad and Tobago , Year 2 enjoyed a feast of tropical fruits and ginger cake. Harrison’s grandma even made us a delicious cake showing the flag of Trinidad.
Today, a parcel arrived in year 4, it travelled from one group of children to the next, what they didn't know was that it contained the plague!
Year 4 have been learning about The Black Death as part of their history topic and today they learnt which countries the plague travelled through to reach England.

Today in Year 6 we have been studying blood. We have learnt about what blood is made up of and the jobs of each part. As part of this we have made our own man-made blood using raspberries, marshmallows, sprinkles and juice.
We placed 3 chocolate eggs in aluminium 'boats' and placed the boats in water of different temperatures. 5 degrees, 40 degrees and 50 degrees. Can you predict which egg melted most quickly? And more importantly can you explain why.
We received a special task from Detectective Meg. She wants us to help her to read the time on an analogue clock. We completed some fantastic work and challenged our learning during the 'Chilli Challenge'.
