Year 6 were treated to a workshop all about transition from primary to secondary school. It was very much an interactive session dealing with everything they may face as they move to their respective secondary schools. Lots of drama and practical group work helped them to understand the changes ahead.
Year 6 are really into their Apprentice Project now and are at the stage of thinking about their advert. We have Barry Stone, a project mentor, from Manchester Airport coming in tomorrow to help the children design their posters.
Year one had a great time out in the forest this week. They found a pack of tree dogs!!! The children took the tree dogs for a walk and made them dinner. Our children also looked for spiders, found our newly planted tree, climbed trees, made a boat and sailed to a desert island.
I am holding an information meeting for all the parents of the children going to Robinwood on the 2nd July. This meeting will be after school at 3.15pm on Wednesday 27th June 2018. All must attend. Thank you
Well done to those children in Year 1 who got a special mention this month.
