This week we have been looking at the Jewish celebration Shabbat and why they celebrate it every week. Shabbat is the most important day of the week for Jewish people, because it is a day on which they remember that God created the world and everything in it. God created the world in six days, but on the seventh day, Shabbat, He rested, and, like Him, they also rest on Shabbat.

We even made our own Challah bread and celebrated Shabbat in our class…
