Today we had the opportunity to interview a nurse to find out what life is like in hospitals today. We found out about how nurses look after patients, work with doctors and comfort people at hard times. We looked at her uniform and found out why they wear an upside down watch. In Year 2, we have been looking at the gospels in the bible. Today we read about the baptism of Jesus in the River Jordan. We used role play to tell the story using drama in our Kagan groups.
The last Special Mentions before we broke up was a spectalur event and enjoyed by all who attended. The wonderful children who were recognised this time are pictured belowed. All the children deserve priase, but these were something extra special. Please come and celebrate with us at the next Special Mentions.
