Year 2 have been learning about how humans change as they grow in their science lessons. A member of Year 2 has a baby brother who came to visit us. We had the chance to ask his Mum some questions about how babies grow and develop. What a lovely afternoon!
Year two had a great forest school session today. They played hide and seek, built dens and worked together. A lot of laughter was heard and a lot of fun had. The children also showed such great respect for the fire that they were trusted to help put it out during their reflection time.
Our Afternoon Tea fundraiser was a huge success. We raised £250 to support Miss Bostock's work in Uganda. We would like to say thank you to all the parents and children who attended the event and donated money to such a fantastic cause!
With all the children from Year 2 , we retold the story of We ‘re Going on a Bear Hunt. They taught us the actions and it really felt like we were actually going on a bear hunt. Thank you to all the children in Year 2.
Year 4 have been working really hard this week learning to change between seconds, minutes and hours. This morning they worked together in their teams to compare different times by converting them into different units of measurement.
