As part of their preparation to create 2D shapes using Scratch, the children worked in pairs to find out how many repeats and turns they would need to make various shapes. They had to put their multiplication knowledge to the test. Well done Year 3.
In computing doday, Year 5 were using Microbits. They had to code their own messages and save them to the Microbit. This would then use the LED lights on the Microbit to display the message.

Year 4 have been working really hard this week learning to change between seconds, minutes and hours. This morning they worked together in their teams to compare different times by converting them into different units of measurement.
Today we have been naming 3d shapes and talking about their properties. We were blindfolded and had to identify the shape using our sense of touch. We finished by sorting common objects with our Kagan groups.
Today St James C of E Primary School came to collaborate with our school choir. Both schools performed their own numbers before coming together to sing a song with two parts. This song was extra special because lots of other schools in Greater Manchester were singing this song at the same time. It was the first time both choirs...
