It’s the thrill... Year 5 had a fantastic time competing in a variety of fun activities yesterday. The children all represented one of four houses and their points were accumulated, the winning house was Thomas More.
Thanks for the memories, Mr Barker
In June our Science club took part in the Great Science Share at the University of Manchester. We had prepared a science investigation looking at how a culprit in a crime could be caught using only a ransom note, this was through a process called chromatography. We then had the opportunity to visit other groups and carry out investigations...
Year two enjoyed their time in the forest today. What started with den building and swinging quickly turned into war, with our children reinacting the amazing facts they found out at this week's history day!!!
Children had the opportunity to visit the Year 2 workshop and find out what it was like to be an evacuee during World War 2. We found out what we had to pack in our suitcase and imagined how it would feel to be sent to the countryside without our family.
