As part of our work on Judaism , we talked about families and how they are important to us. We learnt about Abraham and Moses who are important people in the family story of Jewish people.

Year 1 have been learning that one object can be represented by another. For example, one elephant can be represented by one cube or counter. They worked in Pirate Pal groups to find as many different ways as they could to represent given objects.

Year 1 travelled all the way to Liverpool to visit The Beatles museum. We went in the Cavern Club, went in the Yellow Submarine and even played some records! The staff at the museum were so impressed with how much we knew!
