We listened to the story of The Rainbow Fish who wouldn’t share his colourful scales with his friends. In the end though he liked it when he shared his scales as it made him really happy and also his friends too.
Year 5 have designed their landing crafts, today they built them. There were 3 levels to see who had constructed the most efficient craft. In level 1, one craft cracked and one egg cracked. Today, Year 5 were investing the structure of bridges. They wanted to know how paper can be manipulated to create a stronger bridge. This links into so many skills, especially, those in the STEM careers.

Year 5 are so theatrical, they fully commit to any form of art. This Easter term they were lucky to have dance lessons, however, due to other circumstances they only had three lessons. Even though time was short they managed to perform a fantastic piece.
