A few of our year six children planted a White Arum Lily in our peace garden today which was donated from one of our grandparents. Thank you for the lovely plant, we will always think of year six when we look at it.
This morning Year 3 reflected on the words "Come Holy Spirit." The children had painted jars and we put nightlights in them so we could see the effect of the light in the room. We listened to Fire of your Love by the Vigil Project. The children set up the prayer focus.

Today we raised money to support the work of the Salesian Sisters in Nairobi. A team of teachers are travelling to Nairobi to support two schools and provide new resources and create new experiences for the children. We raised £264.84 to support this wonderful cause.

Here they are putting up pictures of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Our Lady of Czestochowa.
As it is the 1st of May some girls from our GIFT Team prepared a crown, flowers and materials for the statue of Mary in our Peace Garden.
Year 1 and Year 2 were invited to join a procession to the statue and sing the hymns "Bring Flowers of the Rarest" and "Ave Maria Gratia Plena"
Today Year 3 read from St John's Gospel about Jesus washing the feet of the disciples at the Last Supper.
