As it is the 1st of May some girls from our GIFT Team prepared a crown, flowers and materials for the statue of Mary in our Peace Garden.
Year 1 and Year 2 were invited to join a procession to the statue and sing the hymns "Bring Flowers of the Rarest" and "Ave Maria Gratia Plena"
Today, our fabulous GIFT Team lead a Scriptural Rosary for our children and their families, as part of their Lenten preparation. We recited the "Crowning with Thorns "Mystery.

Today the GIFT Team (with newly appointed members) worked with Year 1 to tell the " Way of the Cross." This is a special prayer that reminds us of the events from Holy Week up to the Resurrection.
We had some special helpers too - St Paul, Our Lady and St Lawrence.
On Monday, Nursery went into the hall and enjoyed numerous activities as part of our conversations with God. We played music, counted our blessings with a tower of cubes, painted pictures and said prayers, using bubbles to send our prayers to Heaven. We celebrated Candlemas today. Members of our GIFT team read from the bible and then each teacher was given a candle to place on their class altar. The candle's are being taken to church tonight to be blessed by Father Simon.
