Yesterday in RE we listened to a speech that Pope Benedict XVI gave to children in England, Scotland and Wales. We then discussed what advice we would give if we were in the Pope's position before writing a speech of own.
This morning in Year 4 we discussed last night's football match and how well England did to make it to the semi-final! We all agreed that we were happy at how far we had made and that we would still have a nice day regardless of the result. We then performed Wonderful World in makaton.
Some of the Year 3 and 4 children today competed in the KS2 Quad kids competition with Tameside Schools. After some fantastic performances the team came home with the Silver medal! We also earned a girls individual GOLD and the boys individual BRONZE a fanstastic team performance on sports week!
Today in Science club we have been preparing our experiment for The Great Science Share! We have been carrying out a chromatography experiment to show the different dyes used in felt tip pens!
