Today we had the opportunity to interview a nurse to find out what life is like in hospitals today. We found out about how nurses look after patients, work with doctors and comfort people at hard times. We looked at her uniform and found out why they wear an upside down watch. The last Special Mentions before we broke up was a spectalur event and enjoyed by all who attended. The wonderful children who were recognised this time are pictured belowed. All the children deserve priase, but these were something extra special. Please come and celebrate with us at the next Special Mentions.

Thank you to everybody who was able to make it to our family assembly. We shared some prayers in a prayer service. The children took part in a Christmas crafts activity. It was a great time to gather together just before Christmas.
The Year 5 pupils have all made a Christmas card. The card was given to people at the Home who would normally not get one. A very kind and generous idea.
