Yesterday in RE we listened to a speech that Pope Benedict XVI gave to children in England, Scotland and Wales. We then discussed what advice we would give if we were in the Pope's position before writing a speech of own.
This morning in Year 4 we discussed last night's football match and how well England did to make it to the semi-final! We all agreed that we were happy at how far we had made and that we would still have a nice day regardless of the result. We then performed Wonderful World in makaton.
As part of our history day today we discussed the importance of poppies and why they are used to remember those who died for us during World War 1. We then went on to make our own poppies.
