How do Museums Classify Objects?

In preparation for our trip for a Greek Super Learning day at Manchester Museum, the children completed a task to help them understand how the museum classifies objects. A variety of objects such as feathers, shells, chalk, pebbles, vegetables and fruit, and man made plastic and glass, were placed on the table and the children had to discuss the different ways they would sort the objects.

We had a very productive discussion about it.
