Today we talked about how we taste our food and how signals are sent from our taste buds to the our brain. We talked about most common flavours: sweet, sour, salty, bitter and umami (rich root flavour). In Maths we had to build a tower to match our numicon shape. That was a tricky task for some! Can you ask your child at home to get you 5 toys? 6 pieces of pasta? 7 carrots? 8 potatoes? 9 cubes? 10 nuts? etc
