We have been making teen numbers in many fun ways. We made bracelets and necklaces to show ten and some more. We used modelling clay to show ten and more. We ordered number cards to 10 and 20. Great job!
On Friday 10th March, our swimming team participated in the Catholic Schools Gala at Denton Swimming Pool. The races included girls and boys: back stroke, breast stroke and freestyle, as well as two relays.
Several members of the squad received individual medals and the girls were rewarded with the Girls Shield after becoming the overall winners of the competition.
Today we talked about higher and lower numbers and we had explain why we think that. We counted realibly in a small group crocodile teeth, found numbers on the number line and talked about the numbers why they are higher or lower.
How many bricks?
In Reception we practised recognising numbers to 20 on number cards and then we counted out bricks and blocks accurately to match to our number cards. Then we built different models with that number of cubes or blocks. When we finished , we showed our models to the rest of the group.

We have had an amazing day dressed up as our favourite book character. We had an assembly to launch the day and a parade of costumes. It was really fun trying to work out who everybody was and what book they were from.
We are continuing to try very hard to keep our Lenten Promises which we made on Ash Wednesday. We are also trying to do some random acts of kindness as well as stopping twice a day to say our own personal prayers.
